Rice Bake (Baked Rice Squares) Recipe
Description
Warm, soft rice paired with the mild, creamy texture of crumbled Andrulis Feta Cheese creates a simple dish that feels filling and familiar. Lightly baked into soft squares, it brings a sense of comfort to the table and works well for a quiet dinner at home or a relaxed meal when you want something easy to prepare and share.
Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked regular rice
- 2 cups water
- 3 medium onions (thinly sliced)
- 6 tbsp oil
- 6 tbsp butter or margarine
- 3 eggs (slightly beaten)
- ¾ cup Andrulis Feta Cheese (crumbled)
- 1 tsp dill
- 1 tsp oregano
- dash of garlic salt
Instructions
- 1 Cook rice in water according to directions on pkg. Fry onions in oil & butter until golden. but not brown. Do not drain.

Beat eggs: add cheese. dill. oregano & garlic salt. After rice & onions have cooled slightly. add to egg mixture & place in well greased baking dish. ( 13 ½ x 8¾ x ¾) Cook in 350° oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown.- 3
